It's okay to pray and ask God for things, but, please don't forget to say thank you. Have you ever done something nice for someone and they did not express thanks? It does not feel very good.
We teach our children at a young age to say thank you. Often times as adults we pray, pray, pray and when God answers, we don't take the time to be grateful to our amazing God. It reminds me of the story in the Bible of the ten people who had Leprosy. God healed them all and ONLY one came back to thank Jesus.
Take a few minuets and thank God for all the answers to prayer he has given you. Thank him also for the prayers you feel he has not answered yet. Remember, his timing is perfect! He loves you.
Picture each answered prayer like a flower God gives you. Jesus constantly gives us bouquets of flowers to show us how much he cares. Let today be a day of expressing our love back to Him. How is your GODmance going? Keep falling deeper in love with Jesus. There is nothing like a romance with Jesus.
Luke 17:11-19 "Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, Jesus, Master, have pity on us! When he saw them, he said, Go, show yourselves to the priests. And as they went, they were cleansed. One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” Then he said to him, Rise and go; your faith has made you well."
